Beginning your wellness journey
Welcome and congratulations on taking your first step towards your journey to invest in your well-being.
From a young age I was interested in various forms of exercise – dance, skiing, skating, gymnastics, sports – I often admired others who gracefully displayed themselves performing their exercises. So I began to explore – my journey began with doing all sorts of outdoor activities I enjoyed, then incorporating at home workouts, gym workouts, etc.
My journey did not stop there. I recognized that in order to succeed in any form of exercise, I must fuel my body accordingly. From planning healthy meals, to organizing weekly cheats, I truly enjoyed coming up with new ideas to fuel my body in a healthy manner.
While exercise and fueling my body with healthy meals played a significant role, I recognized in my early days as an undergraduate student, that my mental well-being influenced my attitude towards exercise and healthy eating. From late night assignments, to spending most of time away from home, munching on unhealthy meals started to become more than just a weekly cheat, and exercise no longer was a priority.
It hit me. Stress. Deadlines. Late nights.
I had to press reset and train my mind, take control, and make it my priority in order to nourish my body, mind and soul and set it towards my success. Taking control of my mindset allowed me to prioritize exercise, healthy eating, and succeed in my personal goals. And all I could think to myself was “well done!”
Over the years, I have taken what I have trained my body, mind and soul to achieve and used it as a means to help others succeed in their wellness goals, one goal at a time!
It fills me with joy knowing that I have had an impact in someone else’s health and well-being, and I want to use my years of trial and error to help you begin and succeed in your wellness goals. Well Dun, you’ve taken the first step, now let’s set some goals and crush them for a happier, healthier, lifelong journey.
